Why Handwriting Analysis?
Why handwriting analysis? Does it work? Is it accurate? Why should I trust it? All good questions! And it is quite understandable that if you have never used or tried handwriting analysis, otherwise known as graphology, before it may seem more that a little strange that your handwriting can tell your personality. This article will give insight into why handwriting analysis can help you in your life. But your handwriting does show your personality! And oh, so accurately! HOW it works. When you see someone you know well walking along, far off in the distance, you can't make out their face, and you can't recognize their clothes. But you can tell it's them. How? By the way they move as they walk. Even if you don't know someone, you can tell if they are angry, happy, depressed etc. by the movements of their body. You can tell if they are shy and withdrawn, or a raging extrovert. It's all in their movement,
their body language.
You may well recognize a member of your immediate family just by the sound of their footsteps - our movements are that unique. You recognize “mannerisms” as belonging specifically to people you know well. Mannerisms are just body language. Why Handwriting Analysis works in the same way... These impulses that cause you to move come from the brain. The impulses than enable you to write, also come from the brain, and are as unique to you as your other body movements. The difference is that when you write, you leave an indelible trail behind you with the pen on the page. Handwriting Analysis is the analyzing of these movements in the same way as you can analyze visual body movements by using a video tape of the individual. If you are angry, in a hurry, very tired, or working hard and in deep concentration. Do you write the exactly same way in all of these circumstances? No, of course you don’t. Your writing is showing your temporary feelings (such as a flash of temper) and it’s also showing your long term, more stable personality traits. And just in the same way as your essential personality, that we see when we are with you, doesn’t change just because you lose your temper briefly, neither do the basic traits in your writing change just because you are angry, tired or sad. Once you know what strokes indicate what traits, it is a relatively simple business to identify traits from writing. Why handwriting is both easy and complex There are well over 100 basic traits. A basic trait is where one stroke equals one personality trait. And there are hundreds of combination, where 2 or many individual basic traits combine together to form more complex or evaluated traits. Why Handwriting Analysis is simple A simple example of this is as follows: A round dot on the lower case “i” – not drawn, just dotted – is an indication of loyalty. Circle letters (“a”, “o”, circle part of “g” and “d”) with no loops, hooks or mis-formations are an indication of honesty. These are both simple basic traits. Why Handwriting Analysis is complex However, when combined, honesty and loyalty together form the trait of sincerity – an evaluated trait. It is called “evaluated” because not only does it require the presence of more than one trait, but the intensity or frequency of each trait also has to be considered. It is easy enough for the beginner to master the basic traits. Learning how to identify evaluated traits, and even more, how to take all the traits together and evaluate the entire personality, is something that only a qualified graphologist can do properly. Why Handwriting Analysis should be trusted. • The legal systems in countries all over the world trust it, and accept Graphology or Handwriting Analysis in their court systems. • The US Congress has recognized it as a valid and accepted branch of psychology, a division of body language. • In some countries in Europe and the Middle East, up to 95% of prospective employees have their handwriting analyzed as part of the hiring process. • It's accuracy, as in all branches of psychology, depends on the practitioner, but it can have a 90% accuracy rating when done by a Professional Handwriting Analyst. Handwriting Analysis can also be used in Personal Development to improve upon areas of weakness, or remove negative traits. It can also be used to gain positive traits. This is known as
Graphotherapy.
which goes on the proven principle of if you change your handwriting you can change your life.
Another benefit of Graphotherapy is that once you have successfully changed your writing, and gained the new trait you wanted, by monitoring your writing occasionally you can see if you are starting to slip back into your old ways.
If you see you are starting to write in your old way again, you just pay attention to writing the way you want again for a while, and reinforce your desired behavior.
Handwriting Analysis does not tell the future or the past it shows your personality.
So if you are interested in finding out more about yourself and other people give handwriting analysis a try. It’s an amazing tool.
